CHARLES GETCHELL

Charles Getchell has been associated with Sabre as a consultant since 1990. He now acts as Secretary of Sabre Foundation, Inc., and Chairman of Sabre Europe, Association Internationale, based in Brussels, Belgium. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Stanford University, and, after service in the US Naval Reserve, studied international law and economics at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. He was subsequently an officer of Citibank and of Wood, Struthers & Winthrop, a New York investment banking firm. He is now a practicing lawyer and the publisher of The Ipswich Press in Ipswich, Massachusetts. He is a Senior Fellow and former director of the Salzburg Seminar. Charles is also affilliated with the Belgium-American Educational Fund and is a Fellow of the Massachusetts Historical Society.
