Staff Notes
Clockwise from front center: Sabre staff members Tania Vitvitsky, Kimberly Bartlett, John Tepedino, Colin McCullough, Ray Gillespie and Kenneth Mackler and intern Tatyana Yeryomenko. |
In June 2000, John Tepedino joined Sabre’s staff as Press and Program Development Officer. John is a former campaign manager and legislative staffer for Congressman Rick Lazio of New York.
After nearly five years at Sabre, Reference Librarian Rebecca Schneider left to take a position with The Community Builders, Inc. Her good humor, dedication and organizational skills are missed.
In November '99, Ray Gillespie joined Sabre’s staff as Program Officer. Mr. Gillespie comes to Sabre from Great Britain with extensive experience in programming and database design.
Mr. Gillespie takes the place of John Emery who left Sabre to begin training as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. John begins an assignment with the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador in Fall 2000.
Bill Hantzis started work at Sabre’s Clinton, MA, warehouse in June ’99 after thirty years as a Project Supervisor for Middlesex Building & Wrecking Co. Mr. Hantzis has been a long-time volunteer with a number of educational and charitable organizations in the Clinton area.
Interns
Intern librarian Tatyana Yeryomenko left Sabre in June 2000 to return home to Russia. She will rejoin Ryazan State Pedagogical University, where she was library director. Everyone at Sabre wishes Tatyana the very best.
