| General Description: | International Book Project (IBP) was founded in 1966 to provide books to people outside the US and, secondarily, in the US. | ||
| Project Description: | IBP receives reference works, encyclopedias and technical books and journals from donors, and distributes them to over a hundred countries with the emphasis on the Americas, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Eastern and Central Europe, Africa, China and Malaysia. IBP will match donors with recipients and, if there is no ready recipient, store the material in the IBP warehouse (over 250,000 volumes).
