World Vision, Inc. is a partnership with 13 support offices and 42 field offices (see "Overseas Offices above), each employing their own staff. World Vision Relief & Development is an affiliated organization carrying out a variety of activities including overseas distribution of donated books which are ancillary to its overall program. WVRD receives Gifts in Kind (GIK) donations of an average annual value of $25 million, with book donations averaging $2 million annually. These books are utilized in educational programs for children through adults in Africa and Latin America.
