General Description:

Australian Legal Resources International (ALRI) is an Australian non-profit, non-government organisation dedicated to the support of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law in developing countries. ALRI members include judges, lawyers, accountants, architects, civil servants and other professionals.

ALRI has a range of capacity building and institutional strengthening programs in Africa, Eastern Europe, South Asia, Indo-China, and the Middle East, the Pacific and the West Indies.

Project Description:

ALRI donates hard copies of legal libraries and computerised legal information retrieval systems to various institutions in developing countries. ALRI has also donated books institutions in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean, Central Asia, SE Asia, and the Pacific, including:
