Programs | Book Donations | Material Donations | Special Collection Donation Guidelines Special Collection Donation Guidelines Most of the educational materials Sabre distributes are donated by publishers in multiple copies per title, with typical quantities donated often numbering in the tens of thousands. Sabre will also occasionally accept donations of special collections from academic institutions, non-profit organizations or individuals. These types of donations are generally in specialty or scholarly areas that can uniquely supplement an overseas institution's collection. For logistical reasons, Sabre will not accept a special collection unless the donor has identified an appropriate recipient institution in one of the countries where the Foundation has an ongoing program. Absolutely no material should be sent to Sabre without prior authorization. For additional information on donating a special collection to Sabre, please contact Colin McCullough at 617-868-3510 or colin@sabre.org. If Sabre cannot make use of your prospective donation, it is possible that another organization can. Sabre has compiled a database of book donation organizations to help potential donors find such an alternative.
